An evolving Danish publisher of high quality books
Gads Children’s Books is part of the bigger company C.E. Gads, founded in 1855, and one of Denmark’s oldest existing publishing companies.
On the adult side, Gads have a focus on high quality history and culture titles, as well as biographies and commercial and upmarket literary fiction. In translation, they have published Patrick Melrose, Eat, Pray, Love and the New York Times bestseller, Such a Fun Age to name a few.
On the children’s book side, Gads publish the whole spectrum from picture books, easy reading, middle grade, YA and non-fiction. The aim is to publish books of a high quality – both in terms of content, look and feel.
