Synopsis

All is not well at Casa Kitty Poo. Not only does Ziggie treats Kitty Poo as a doormat and scapegoat, but a new bully in town has started picking on Ziggie. This has gotten Kitty Poo riled up, as no one is allowed to torture Ziggie – except for Kitty Poo of course.

Kitty Poo tries to gather the gang to make evil plans on how to get rid of the bully and get Ziggie back in shape, so their internal war can continue.

But the otherwise faithful friends, the dead rodent, Ooze Mouse, the omnivorous and gluttonous, Peter Pug, and the shy pitbull, Killer Karen, are busy hanging out with the new cool pet on the block.

Suddenly, Kitty Poo’s position as the king of the castle is threatened, and Kitty Poo must fight for its territory and decide how far it dares to go? And what’s really important in life, when you suffer from a big ego and has a penchant for fatty fish.

KITTY POO: SMELLING A RAT AND A TOTAL KITTASTROHPY is the second volume in the hilarious graphic novel series about a teenager and his cunning cat caught in an eternal rivalry, when girlfriends, thugs and killer slugs don't get in the way. Turns out that Ziggie and Kitty Poo might actually care for each other … Or at least love to hate each other.

The first book, KITTY POO: REVENGE IS SWEET AND REEKS OF FISH! won the Best Graphic Novel of the Year Award by The Copenhagen Libraries, as well as the Orla Prize 2023 in the category "The Book that made me wet my Pants with Laughing".

Both the first and second books were nominated for the Ping Prize.

The fourth book is currently nominated for the Orla Prize.
