Mette Telefoni (b. 1976) is an anthropologist who has written many short-stories, YA novels and easy-read novels for all school ages, as well as three illustrated picture books.

Thomas Hjorthaab is a graduate of Serieskolan in Malmö from 2012 and a full-time illustrator.

Synopsis

Ava receives a letter asking if she wants to be the sender’s girlfriend. But the letter is not signed. Ava does not know what to do. She asks Esther to help her, and they start to investigate. When Ava finally finds out, who the letter is from, she is very surprised.

Mette Telefoni has written a very special series in a wonderful language, full of wisdom and warmth and with very clearly drawn characters.
