Thomas Hjorthaab has illustrated a large number of children's books and had his own series of picture books published at Gads Børnebøger in 2019. He has furthermore made the animations for a number of music videos, TV and cartoon movies.
He was shortlisted for the Danish Art Foundation's annual Illustrator Award in 2024 and is currently shortlisted again for 2025.
