Mette Telefoni (b. 1976) is an anthropologist who has written many short-stories, YA novels and easy-read novels for all school ages, as well as three illustrated picture books.
Thomas Hjorthaab is a graduate of Serieskolan in Malmö from 2012 and a full-time illustrator.
Synopsis
Ava is going on a school trip with her new classmates. But she does not want to go - the mere thought gives her a belly ache. She has only ever slept at her grand parents' house and at Anna's. And this will be three days, far away from home!
Luckily Esther thinks of a great plan. And later on Ava realizes that she is not the only one who has a hard time sleeping.
Mette Telefoni has written a very special series in a wonderful language, full of wisdom and warmth and with very clearly drawn characters.
