Synopsis
It was an ordinary Tuesday. They had spelling in school and Leopold was called up to the blackboard. But suddenly he froze... Leopold had done something embarrassing... something really embarrassing, he thought.
What had happened? And don't we all occasionally do something we think is really embarrassing ...?
The stories about Leopold are humorous, and the language is subtle without any finger-pointing, even though the subject matter can be quite serious. It all takes place in a fun pig universe with lots of funny pig expressions. There's always a basis for a good laugh - for both children and their grown-ups - and a good chat about emotions!
Reviews
"The books in the ‘Leopold’ series are a hit with children. They can all relate to the simple stories with big emotions. Leopold is easy to like, even though (or maybe especially) because he has all the big emotions. There's plenty of opportunity for great conversations about being embarrassed and how to deal with it." – (Lektørudtalelse (Library review)
