Synopsis
Although Anas Hashim, aka YOUNG MORDER, has been delivering scorching verses on stage with his biggest idol M:ALI, it seems he doesn't really get the respect he deserves.
Clarissa, the love of his life, is unfortunately still dating someone else, and his best friend, Yaqub, has started acting strange. And just when things can't get much worse, his mum insists that he should get a part-time job.
The whole world seems to be against Anas, and he's on his own in the fight to once again lay ice-cold bars with M:ALI and face the traitors.
Me against the World is the second book in a series. There are currently four books published and two further books in the pipeline.

Reviews
"Anas Hashim is back with a vengeance in this second instalment, which not only overflows with silly humour, quirky personalities and effective plot twists, but also has something to say. Everything comes together, and if you don't already love Anas Hashim, you now will." – (Danish Library Centre (Dansk Bibliotekscenter)
"Anas Hashim - Me against the World is an entertaining and thought-provoking read. Boys like Anas are well represented in Danish society, but definitely underrepresented in literature for children and young people. It's great to finally have a genuine and authentic protagonist who can make you laugh and think about your own prejudices at the same time ... The series about Anas Hashim is quite excellent, and I personally can't wait for the next volume in the series!" – (Danish blog, The Book Bot (Bogbotten)
Personal note from the author
When I started writing at a very young age, I thought that if I wrote something, I had to rap it. So I've always done that, and I think that's why rhymes and rhythms almost always find their way into my writing.
I always listen to music when I write. Mostly jazz or just low key stuff, never vocals, it distracts me when I'm already working with words.
An exception might be Persian music, perhaps because my brain doesn't grasp the words in the same way as it would with Danish or English.
