Synopsis
On a ski holiday with YOUNG MORDERE and his family, Anas meets his idol M:ALI and his ice-cold nephew, Jamil. On the slopes, Anas and Jamil quickly become brothers and Anas now feels like part of the M:ALI's family.
Unfortunately, it's not all fun and games. Even if the ski equipment is in order, it's still a long way down when you suffer from a fear of heights. And back home in Denmark, Betty isn't as good at looking after Mouritz and her new gangster kittens as Anas had hoped, and things get really tense when mum's worn-out boyfriend invites himself along on the ski trip.
Luckily, Anas has his new brother, Jamil, but the more he tries to impress him, the more YOUNG MORDERE distance themselves. How will Anas avoid losing face and stay on top as ice-coldest gangster rapper of the mountain?
Cold at the Top is the fourth book in a series. There are currently two further books in the pipeline.

Reviews
"Another great story with lots of slang, hard-hitting bars and hilarious drawings. It's super fun and cringy to read about Anas' dilemmas, being on one hand completely ordinary and at the same time wanting to be super cool, and about him realising that he has to grit his teeth and practice. Particularly good is the dilemma Anas has to solve if he wants to keep his old friends, as well as his new friend, Jamal. The story makes great points about unity and friendship." – (Danish Library Centre (Dansk Bibliotekscenter)
Personal note from the author
When I started writing at a very young age, I thought that if I wrote something, I had to rap it. So I've always done that, and I think that's why rhymes and rhythms almost always find their way into my writing.
I always listen to music when I write. Mostly jazz or just low key stuff, never vocals, it distracts me when I'm already working with words.
An exception might be Persian music, perhaps because my brain doesn't grasp the words in the same way as it would with Danish or English.
