Forlaget Tallulah

Tallulah publishes new Danish fiction for children and young adults, created by established and brand-new authors and illustrators.

They publish new favourite books for new generations, stories that ignite the imagination, entertain and give you a language to understand both yourself and others.

Founder Tine Flyvholm, who has worked in children's book publishing since 1998, explains that the focus is always on the child-reader:

“Danish children’s and YA literature has a strong tradition of portraying children’s lives as they are, for better or worse, and of taking young readers seriously as whole people.

At Tallulah, we share that view of children.

Children live, perceive, experience and dream in the same world as adults. That is why we are committed to publishing new Danish fiction that faithfully and thoughtfully allows them to step into other lives and emotions, sparks their imagination, and provides the language to help them navigate the reality they live in.”
