Synopsis
The writer and illustrator, Søren Jessen, has turned Kafka’s famous story from 1912 into a visually stunning graphic novel, which in an expressive black and white style, captures an atmosphere of claustrophobia and alienation, not only towards Gregor's life and the surrounding society, but also towards his family on the other side of the door, as their emotional detachment grows and grows.
