Synopsis

In a basement, deep underneath a war-torn city, a child is hiding with his dad. Drones and missiles continue to hit and it is very dangerous to be outside. You can only go out at night. They cannot escape the city, as it is under siege by the enemy's soldiers and all bridges across the river have been destroyed.

But one night as they are searching for food and water, they loose their way in the bombed-out streets of the city and they end up at the river. Here they find something that they did not expect...

Reviews

"It is difficult to call "Everything has an End" anything other than a small masterpiece... when you start reading, you get spellbound by the artwork, as well as the text. With hypnotic illustrations and a typography that weaves itself around the pictures and become a part of the aesthetic expression... It is awe-inspiring that you can compress a tale in such a beautiful and intense way." – (Kristeligt Dagblad)

"Incredibly beautiful and poetic tale in pictures, which - with great compassion - describes the loneliness, fear and insecurity experienced by the young main character while in hiding under the wartorn city." – (Library Review (Lektørudtalelse))
