Synopsis
I wake up in the dark with the delightful sensation of a knife in my heart.
When Franz Kafka met the Berliner, Felice Bauer, on August 13, 1912 and fell madly in love, it was the beginning of an incredibly productive period in his writing career. But it was also the beginning of a deep divide between love and the urge to write. A divide that at times almost tore Kafka apart and which influenced him for much of his short life.
