Synopsis
With her fiery red hair and flamboyant dress style, Finnish Kerttu stands out in the quiet local community in Brösarp, Österlen, Sweden.
She has settled there by pure chance having escaped the travelling circus she worked in with her crazy ex boyfriend.
Meanwhile, life goes quietly on in the village of Brösarp with the old-age pensioners, the immigrants in the centre around the corner and the motley crew of the church congregation.
It is all a bit too quiet for Kerttu and she decides to do up her outhouse and offer tango courses. But during the renovation she makes a surprising discovery. And she also gets in the bad book of the church congregation.
