Synopsis
Jonas and his best friend, Simon, have a secret den in the big, overgrown garden on the other side of the woods. One day, Jonas spots the owner, an elderly lady, being taken away in an ambulance and she doesn’t return. Her house with the many potted plants is empty and locked up. But it seems as if someone is still in there. Someone who needs help.
Silver Bloom has been a hit with readers since it came out in 2002. It is an atmospheric and poetic tale about friendship, change and the magical power of nature and it is the prequel to the new standalone novel, Night Bloom, published for the first time in 2021. The book can be read from 10 years up.
