Synopsis

"Taxa has stripes of mascara on her face. Black transparent clouds under each eye. Maybe she had them already when they were singing and riding down the cobbled street. ‘In a way, I feel I have to save you,’ Naja says. ‘In a way, I feel as if I have to save you,’ Taxa says."

Liv Life Leben Vie Love is a novel about friendship and loyalty. About fitting in and feeling displaced. About caring and holding on. About opting out and saying stop.

We met Naja and Taxa for the first time in the novel Hest Horse Pferd Cheval Love, which won the Danish Cultural Ministry’s Author Prize and was shortlisted for the Nordic Council’s Children’s Book Prize. The two books can be read independently from each other.
