Synopsis

Viola's parents haven't been divorced for long - at least, that's how it feels to Viola. So when she catches her mother kissing a new man in her cafe, she is confused and then furious. Adam (the man in question) is always telling long stories about when he was a boy, and even worse, Viola's friend Pablo seems to enjoy listening to him. Her father doesn't appear bothered by Adam either. Why is Viola the only one who knows that something is wrong? 

The books about Viola are about being caught in the middle of a divorce, but also about finding your voice and being heard — even when you don’t always get your way.
