Thomas Korsgaard is the youngest author to have won the prestigious Danish Literary Prize, The Golden Laurels. His books have been translated into multiple languages, including English, Dutch, German and Italian.
Charlotte Pardi (b. 1971) has won the Danish Cultural Ministry's Illustrator Prize on several occasions and is loved for her gentle, appealing artwork.
Synopsis
When your little brother is busy opening presents, you can feel a little left out. Then it might be a good idea to go and see where your feet take you. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to find the finest umbrella shop. And maybe giving can feel just as good as receiving.
