Synopsis

What happens in the Metro after dark?

Villy and Tjalfe have been friends since kindergarten. They love drawing, especially graffiti, and now they have decided that all of Denmark should see how good they are! Together with a few of their friends, they want to paint graffiti at the Town Hall Square metro station, and of course it has to be the night before the new City Ring opens, so that it doesn't have time to be washed away before the big official opening day.

But the children apparently don't know the underground and the creatures that live there as well as they think...

Once they get down into the underground, things happen fast, and before they know it, four children have become three.

Reviews

"In "Metro", Landgreen takes the reader from everyday life into the darkness of old, almost forgotten myths. A fusion that succeeds completely. The tension level is steadily increasing, and I was unusually well-entertained." – (www.gyseren.dk)

"A really exciting horror that you just can't put down. There are also fantastic illustrations supporting some of the episodes in the book. This book should be on your shelf!" – (Danish Library Centre (DBC)

"Combined with the author's eminent illustrations, which almost take your breath away, a gloomy soundtrack in collaboration with Jomi Massage, which can be accessed via QR codes at the back of the book, and a grim and very surprising ending, 'Metro' is a truly successful and well-rounded reading experience, which could also easily function as both a film and a graphic novel." – (Litteratursiden (the Literature Page)
