Synopsis
‘WHEN I GROW UP, I WANT TO BE: A ninja fighting space worms in outer space.’
This is how Karla writes in her Fantalastic Diary. Find out all about her thoughts as she talks about her family and friends, the funniest and worst things she's ever experienced - and shares secrets she's never told anyone before.
The book is part of the Fantalastic Diaries series, based on the animated series, Karla's Fantalastic Class, known from Danish National Television. Each diary is a fun and faithful reflection of the character who filled it, and both fans of the animated series and new readers can join in. There are eight of them, as well as My Fantalastic Diary which the children can fill out themselves.
The books are written and illustrated by Tor Fruergaard and Michael Hegner, who are also behind the animation series.

Lessons and schoolyard games often spill into chaos which can only be calmed by working out the important stuff; like true friendship and self-control.
Reviews
"A bunch of wonderful books that expand the Karla universe and will be loved by the many fans. The books focus on friendship, empathy and differences by telling the same stories from different points of view." – (Danish Library Centre (Dansk Bibliotekscenter)
"In a clever Penrose triangle narrative, we learn how our emotions affect others for better or worse... The book is ideal for talking about emotions with children of preschool and primary school age... The diaries are really fun and should definitely complement the longer books about Karla and her friends." – (Danish blog, The Book Bot (Bogbotten)
