Tor Fruergaard (f. 1980) is a graduate from the animation programme at the National Film School of Denmark in 2010 with the claymation short, Venus.
In 2014 he was nominated for the Toronto Film Festival’s short film award for the animation film, Growing Pains, about a shy teenager, Fabian, who turns into a werewolf when he gets sexually aroused.
He won the Danish Comic book award, the Ping Prize, for his graphic novel, Betsy and the Mutant Scouts in 2019 with author, Sissel Dalsgaard.
