Synopsis

Jeppe and Asta are best friends and go to the same kindergarten. Asta is not afraid of anything! Ah, except perhaps trying food she doesn't know, because she prefers to eat only tartlets without filling and spaghetti-meat sauce without meat sauce ...

Reviews

"The books about Jeppe and Asta are a new series that follows the ordinary life of children in kindergarten – and they are excellent books to say the least! They capture in the finest way the everyday life that a child experiences in kindergarten, completely at the child's own level. It is fully relatable for the child who is listening, and the stories will be able to provide many good conversations between child and adult about big and small things. The beautiful illustrations with clear, recognizable facial expressions will make the story even easier to relate to for the child who is listening. We cannot wait to get more books in the series!" – (iBBy Denmark (about the first two books in the series)

"The stories about Jeppe & Asta feel authentic, they address children's emotions, such as nervousness, joy and even conflict management, because it's hard not to make mistakes when you're a small (or big) person. The illustrations are colorful and fun, it's impossible not to get caught up in them! Perfect for reading aloud and for starting conversations about everyday challenges in kindergarten." – (Book blogger, Julie Ottosen)
