Inez Gavilanes (b. 1977) is known as the lead singer of the pop group, Sukkerchok, and for her appearances in several TV programmes. In addition to her music and TV career, she is the author of the YA novel, Maybe Tomorrow, which tackles the social downside of youth life. Most recently, she wrote the Happy Camper series, a humourous series for 8-12 year-olds about the unexpected turns life can take. Her books span several different themes and experiences, showing her ability to embrace multiple aspects of being young.
