Ida Rørholm Davidsen is a talented young graduate of The Royal Danish Academy of Design in Copenhagen. She works broadly with visual communication with a particular interest in children's books and analogue illustration. She runs the shop, GunGun, in Copenhagen with 6 other artists. Lonely Journey is her award-winning debut novel for which she received three prestigious Danish prize nominations: the Claus Deleuran Prize, the Blixen Prize and the Ping Prize; she won the latter in the category "Best YA publication".
