Alvilda was founded in 2009 as a sister company to the adult publisher, Modtryk. With offices in Copenhagen, they are counted among the bigger established children's book publishers in Denmark.
Alvilda publish children’s books and YA, primarily for the age groups 0-18 years. Great Danish and international authors and illustrators form the foundation for the high quality of Alvilda’s publication program.
