Synopsis
Come along on a journey of exploration through the child's first cell, meet the first animal that walked on land, and travel out into space to see our own galaxy from up above.
The Radionauts love to discover new things about our fascinating world and they need all the help they can get from curious children on their exploratory journey, racing through the body, entering down into the sewer, or finding mystical animals at the bottom of the deep sea.
The Radionauts are known from their popular Danish science podcast for children. Since 2016, children from 4-10 have been able to send scientific questions to the podcast and over the years more than 2000 questions arrived. Here is the list of some of the most popular topics that children ask about: 1. The Human Being, 2. Nature, 3. Technique, 4. Animals, 5. Culture, 6. The Universe.
You do not have to know about the podcast to read the book - it is an exploratory journey that any child around the world will be able to relate to. The book is beautifully illustrated through-out by Maria Buchmann.
Reviews
"Really exciting book with a wide-reaching topic. Cool idea with the interactive element: the book is based on children's own questions. The layout of the book is gorgeous and accessible and when you read about the moon or volcanoes - then the text copies the shape (e.g. a half moon)." – (Lektørudtalelse (Library review)
