Synopsis

The book invites you to spend many hours of cosy and educational experiences. The detailed world-spreads invite the child on an imaginative journey. After each world is a picture dictionary page with vignettes and words. By following Tadaaah, children will expand their vocabulary, both through the concrete picture words, but also through the dialogue on the otherwise wordless spreads, which encourages imaginative storytelling. At the back of the book there are fun puzzles to solve.

Thirteen Danish and German illustrators, led by Tove Krebs Lange, are behind the book. They have drawn inspiration from 2nd and 3rd grades in the border region. The book is available in two editions: a Danish-German picture dictionary with both Danish and German words for each vignette - and this Danish picture dictionary with Danish words.

Written by: Tove Krebs Lange

Illustrated by: Annette Carlsen, Eva Muggenthaler, Franziska Ludwig, Jan Mogensen, Line Malling Schmidt, Louise Thrane Jensen, Nis Bangsbo, Simon Væth, Susanne Hartmann, Tomas Björnsson, Tove Krebs Lange, Ursula Seeberg and Zarah Juul.

Reviews

"Unusually inviting book with one fantastic drawing after another in a wide variety of styles. Can be used both as a seek-and-find book and as a dictionary (...) Recommended for cosiness and language stimulation." – (Lektørudtalelse (Library review)
