Synopsis

Esther lives with her mother, father and two little brothers in an apartment in inner city Copenhagen. Life is pretty much all good, except that Esther is tired of her name. It sounds so nice and polite - but unfortunately it only suits her too well. Unlike her best friend Elaine, Esther never dares to do anything dangerous or exciting.

But one day lightning strikes right outside Esther's window, and a brilliant idea comes to her mind: From now on, she is no longer nice Esther. She is Esther Wrestler!

Elaine – now called Elaine Pain – is completely up for it all. And she also has an idea for how the two cool girls should become famous throughout Denmark for their courage.

They just have to find a body, because as Elaine says: All good mysteries start with a body. And she also has a clear idea where to look for one …

The book is the first volume in a new fun series for children by Jonas Kleinschmidt with illustrations by Lasse Bekker Weinreich. It can be read aloud to children aged 6 and up, and can be read from 8-10 years old.
