Sanne Munk Jensen (b. 1979) grew up in Skagen - but now lives in Copenhagen. She holds a Master In Media Studies with a BA in Nordic Language and Literature. Sanne made her debut in 2002 and has since won several major awards. She writes for young people, and through her writing, she sympathises with them. She typically writes about the choices and opportunities that young people face - and about the art of making the right choices. She has written several works with other fellow writers: Take the Street Back with fellow writer Sarah Engell; Au pair with Kim Fupz Aakeson; and the YA classic You and Me at Dawn, co-written with Glenn Ringtved. Besides books, Sanne Munk Jensen also writes for film and TV - especially children's TV - and teaches writing for young people, aged 13-20.
