Karen Vad Bruun (b. 1977) has been working with books since she was 15 years old. She has worked as literary agent, as a translator and has founded a publishing house with her husband, Benni Bødker, with whom she has co-written an adult crime series. She has written several books for children and her latest, FRANK HERE AND THERE AND EVERYWHERE, won the Blixen Award 2023 and was nominated for the Nordic Literature Council Prize for Children's Books 2023.
