Cato Thau-Jensen

Cato Thau-Jensen is behind a new award-winning picture book with Line-Maria Lång and Karen Vad Bruun.

Cato Thau-Jensen (b. 1966) is a Danish illustrator, known for his wild, colourful and often grotesque illustrations for humourous children's books.

He is a graduate of the Graphic School in Aarhus and the Design School in Kolding. He has illustrated a large number of picture books for Kim Fupz Aakeson, as well as other children's book authors, and has also written his own books.

He has won several literary prizes, including the Cultural Ministry's Illustrator Prize 2002, and is currently nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award.
