Catrine Kyster is a U.S-based Danish immigrant and historian. She writes in Danish and English, for children and adults, fiction as well as historical non-fiction. Her special areas of interest are Danish immigration, food history, WWII, the home front and women in war. She grew up in Denmark, lived several years in New York and now lives in South Carolina with her daughter.
