Bárður Oskarsson comes from the Faroe Islands and is a picture book author, illustrator and artist. His books are translated into more than fifteen languages and he has received many international prizes, including the German LUCHS Kinder- und Jugendbuchpreis, the Swedish Peter Pan-prize and his book, Wilbert, was included on the IBBY Honour List 2018.
