Synopsis

A book about divorce and about finding something good in something that initially feels all wrong.

The girl in the story has a mum and a dad. Mum has a crooked front tooth and wears flowery dresses. Dad has a bald spot at the back of his head and wears cowboy boots. He likes to dance, even if he is not particularly good at it.

The girl has always thought that she was lucky with her mum and that dad.

Unfortunately, lately her parents don’t seem to feel that lucky to have each other. Not any longer. They are going to be divorced and the girl has to divide all her belongings into two separate piles. One for mum’s home and one for dad’s home.

Among her old toys, she finds a magic wand and she has one very particular wish. But you have to be careful what you wish for.
